The goon in me wanted to just kill her. One to the head, two through the heart I thought to myself. But, the fact that I loved her so much had me torn. I had never hesitated before pulling a trigger and now here I was bitching up and second guessing myself. How the fuck did things get this far? Never breaking my gaze from her, I thought about all the time and money I had invested into our short relationship. How the hell did I not see it ending like this?

“I gave you everything ma!” my voice boomed throughout the small basement. “Everything and yet your ass never appreciated it. What was so hard about letting me love you like I wanted to? I meant everything I said to you. Did you honestly think I would let you get away from me?” Before I knew it, I was standing over her again.

It was almost as if I had lost control of my body when my fist connected with her beautiful face. After the first hit, I continued to rain blow after blow to her face and body. I wanted her to feel every ounce of pain that I did. Still she never cried. She only held her head up higher and higher after every hit, enraging me even more.
